Different Languages

The girls have really gotten into watching Dora, Diego, and Kailan when they wake up in the morning. They already know how to count to 13 and say their ABC's along with other phrases and songs. But, I never really paid attention to how much they listened to the shows until about a week ago when I had a friend come over to have me do a Notary. As soon as she walked in the door and saw the girls they said, "hola" to her. Then a few days later as we were picking C up from school they started counting the stairs we were climbing, "uno, dos, tres, quatro, cinco, seis"...since then they have said a few other words like, "chocolate (spanish), ni hao (chinese), ye ye (pronounced like ya ya, grandpa in chinese/ although they don't say it to my dad). Then a few days ago they were riding in the car and saying back to eachother, A - "this is Diego" M -"hi, this is my sister alesia" A - "hola, this is diego" back and forth. They also like to say things from movies just like C does/did. It is crazy how much they learn and remember. Marlon has been teaching them Indian since they were teeny tiny, C has picked up a few things and can say them with Marlon. Now to also learn Japanese so we can teach them : )
